The Christian season of the Ascension and Pentecost has been a wealth of inspiration to composers for centuries. The Choir of Clare College, Cambridge presents a collection of joyous music from mostly British composers across 500 years, from the lively counterpoint of Tallis and Gibbons to new works by Brett Dean, Nico Muhly, Graham Ross and Giles Swayne, Clare College’s Composer-In-Residence.

TOMAS LUIS DE VICTORIA's sublime six-part Requiem is sung by the Choir of Clare College, Cambridge under their director Graham Ross, heard alongside other works for All Saints and All Souls in a performance at the Southend-on-Sea Festival.
The Clare College Masterclass Series, in partnership with AOTOS, welcomes Joan Rodgers CBE for a masterclass with choral scholars on Saturday 1 March.
