These are
experiences
that I shall treasure
for the rest of my life
This year, the Choir's ever-popular Advent Carol Services take place on 28 November and 1 December in Clare College Chapel. The Choir will perform a selection of fresh and familiar festive music, including the winning entry from this year's Clare College Carol Composition Competition. These services are free to attend, though they are ticketed and demand is high; ticket enquiries should be made to Gabrielle Bell, Head of the Chapel Office, at gjb62@clare.cam.ac.uk. Tickets are no longer available for those who are not College members, although please do still contact the Chapel Office if you would like to be placed on the waiting list. Current College members will have received an email with directions on how to apply for tickets.
The Choir performs it's 2024 Christmas programme, 'Bethlehem Star', for the first time in the Cattedrale di San Lorenzo, Lugano, Switzerland, featuring music by Holst, Chilcott, McDowall, Rutter, Dove, Howells, Biebl, and Rheinberger, among others. The next day, the Choir will also provide music for the Cathedral's morning Mass, singing Kodaly's Missa Brevis.
