We are delighted to announce our upcoming UK December concert series!
On Sunday 5 December, the Choir of Clare College, Cambridge alongside the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment will be joined by soloists Lucy Knight (soprano), Emilia Morton (soprano), James Hall (countertenor), Hugo Hymas (tenor) and Andrew Davies (bass) to give a performance of Handel: 'Dixit Dominus' and Bach: 'Magnificat', conducted by Graham Ross.
In addition to this, the Choir look forward to touring their 'What Sweeter Music' programme around London, Suffolk and Cambridge, a compilation of festive choral masterpieces old and new, including Hieronymus Praetorius' 'Christmas Magnificat', 'Hymns to the Virgin' by Villette and Britten, James Long's invigorating 'Vigilate', and a selection of motets that tell us that Christmas has begun.
