The concert programme will include Purcell's Funeral Sentences, composed for the funeral of Queen Anne in 1695, as well as his processional music for Flatt trumpets, sackbuts and percussion, which he wrote for the same occasion. Later in the concert, step-out student soloists from the Choir will take the lead in My Beloved Spake and Ode to St Cecilia. Reduced-price ticketing is available for students and Clare members.
