All welcome to the Final of the Clare College Song Competition on Wednesday 15 March at 7.45pm in The Bennett Room, Memorial Court, Clare College.

 

International Tenor - Andrew Staples - is our Head Judge and will also give a masterclass in the afternoon from 2-5pm.  We will also be joined on the judging panel by renowned violinist and Director of Performance, Margaret Faultless.

 

We look forward to hearing our selected final duos:

Ian Cheung and Marianne Schönle

James Jenkins and Richard Gowers

Olivia Brett and Toby Hession

Stephen Whitford and Sebastian Johns 

 

also including semi-finalists Kit Holliday and Toby Hession in the Masterclass.

 

Prizes include £400 for the 1st prize winners and a recital at St Martin-in-the-Fields in London.

 

There will also be a 2nd Prize and an accompanist prize.

 

 

The standard of the competition has been very high so do come and hear these excellent musicians...
